How to use the layout editor
From a blank canvas to a finished layout in three steps.
Start a layout
Describe your image in one sentence, load an example, begin with a blank canvas, or import a layout JSON you already have.
Place the boxes
Add text, object and person boxes, drag them into position and pull a corner to resize. When you change the words in a text box, its description is updated to match.
Export or generate
Copy or download the JSON, or pick a ratio and quality and click Generate. Editing and exporting are free; only generating uses credits.

MOSS-Image JSON layout tutorialLayout editor FAQ
Can I use the exported JSON in ComfyUI, diffusers or the official demo?
Yes. The editor exports the same compact JSON that MOSS-Image takes as its prompt. Paste it as the prompt in ComfyUI or the official Gradio demo, or pass it as the prompt string in diffusers. The JSON does not contain the image size, so generate at the size shown next to the export buttons.
What do the box coordinates mean?
Each box is [y_min, x_min, y_max, x_max] (yxyx) in whole pixels, measured from the centre of the canvas, with x growing to the right and y growing downward. On a 1024 × 1024 canvas both axes run from -512 to 512. You never have to work this out by hand: the editor converts your boxes when you export.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Placing boxes, editing text, loading examples and importing or exporting JSON are free and need no account. You only sign in when you click Generate.
How many credits does generating use?
The same as on the homepage: 1 credit for a standard image and 2 credits for an HD image. New accounts get 1 free credit.
