MossImage Studio (mossimage.studio) is run by an individual, not a company. In these terms "I" and "me" mean that operator, and "the site" means mossimage.studio. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The site is an independent, unofficial service built on the open-source MOSS-Image model. It is not affiliated with OpenMOSS, and nothing here suggests that it is.

The site lets you generate images from text prompts with the MOSS-Image model. You need an account to generate, and you sign in with Google or GitHub. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

I run the site on my own and the model is provided through a third-party service, so the site is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be slow, change or go offline, and results may contain mistakes, including in text rendered inside images.

CreditsCopy Anchor Link

• New accounts get 1 free credit, once per account.
• One credit pays for one standard image. An HD image costs 2 credits.
• Credits are deducted when you submit a generation. If the generation fails because no image was produced, such as an error or a timeout, the credits are returned automatically.
• If the safety filter blocks an image, the credits are not returned, because the work was still done.
• Only one generation can run for your account at a time.
• Images made with free credits carry a small mossimage.studio watermark. Images made after you have bought credits do not.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

Your prompts and the images you generateCopy Anchor Link

• Ownership. The images you generate belong to you, and you can use them commercially. MOSS-Image is released under the Apache-2.0 license.
• No guarantee. I do not promise that a generated image is free of third-party rights, such as copyright, trademark or personality rights. How you use an image is your responsibility.
• What I may do with your content. You give me permission to store, process and display your prompts and images only as needed to run the site for you. I do not use them to train models or show them to other visitors.

Acceptable useCopy Anchor Link

Do not use the site to:

• generate sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal where you live;
• create images of real people that are meant to deceive, harass or defame them, or that use their likeness without permission;
• infringe other people's rights;
• get around the safety filter, rate limits or credit system, or overload the site with automated requests;
• resell access to the site or share your account.

I can pause or close an account that breaks these rules, for example after repeated safety-filter blocks, without a refund of free credits.

Credit packs and refundsCopy Anchor Link

Credit packs are not on sale yet. This section takes effect from the day purchases open, and I will update it if the terms change before then.

• You can ask for a full refund of a credit pack within 7 days of buying it, as long as you have not used any of the credits from that purchase.
• Credits that have been used are not refundable.
• To ask for a refund, email support@mossimage.studio from the address on your account and tell me which purchase it was.
• The payment provider's own terms may also apply to the purchase, and I will name the provider on this site before packs go on sale.

Availability and changesCopy Anchor Link

I may change or stop any part of the site at any time. If I shut the site down, I will try to give notice on the site first. I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Disclaimer and limit of liabilityCopy Anchor Link

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided without warranties of any kind, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the site. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for credits in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Deleting your accountCopy Anchor Link

You can delete your account in Settings, under Security. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
