Cookie Policy

What this coversCopy Anchor Link

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by MossImage Studio (mossimage.studio), which is run by an individual. For how personal data is handled more generally, see the Privacy Policy.

What the site usesCopy Anchor Link

• Session cookie. Keeps you signed in after you log in with Google or GitHub. Without it the site cannot tell who you are, so it is essential.
• Language cookie. Remembers your language choice. Right now the site is English only.
• Theme setting. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser's local storage.
• Draft prompt. While you sign in, the prompt you wrote is held in your browser's session storage, so it can be restored when you come back. It is cleared afterwards.
• Security cookies. Cloudflare, which serves the site, may set cookies of its own to protect it from bots and abuse.

When you click Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub, those providers may set their own cookies on their own pages. Their cookie policies apply there.

What the site does not useCopy Anchor Link

The site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and it does not currently load any third-party analytics. If I add an analytics tool, for example to count visits, it may set its own cookies, and I will list it here before it goes live.

Managing cookiesCopy Anchor Link

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to stay signed in, and the generator will not work. Clearing your browser storage resets your theme and language choices.

Changes to this policyCopy Anchor Link

If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page.
